I'm also married to the Most Wonderful Woman AliveŠ (thanks for the reminder Jef) and I hit her every once in awhile with the "surprise flower delivery" from FTD.com. They often have sales and while the prices aren't spectacular, they offer same day delivery and cool stuff like that, which means I can look like a Really Great Guy from the comfort of my own office chair. +++cheers+++

I'm with Marianna about the Trader Joe's for flowers as I only shop there anymore as well and their prices are decent for cut flowers. When I do want to send an arrangement, I usually use FTD through their American Airllne portal so that I can get airmiles while I shop. Paid for my trip to California with free miles last year that way.
As to your second topic, I am glad to read that Mike is still :kickbutt: . Do tell him that I am glad he's doing it and hope he is finding good in the quit!

Thanks all for your inquiries about Mike. All I can tell you is that he's not smoking. He won't talk about it and if I do bring it up he gets pissy about it. He's "doing it his way" so I just leave it at that.
After all his most recent health woes and the bouts of being unable to breathe, and all his doctors telling him he'll die if he smokes I think he's finally gotten the point. He also knows he won't be considered for a heart transplant until he's been smoke free for 6 months. AND, I'm pretty sure he knows I'll kill him if I catch him smoking. No.... I won't kill him, but he'll have a very stiff shoe stuck up his butt as he looks for someplace else to live.
Kathleen: Posies are just flowers. Just a generic word for all kinds of flowers.
