Congratulations on 3 weeks Susan.  A number of things that helped me, is always remembering that feelings and urges come and go.  If I smoke the urge will go, but if I don't smoke, not only will the urge leave me, but I will be stronger the next time one hits.  I smoked for nearly 50 years and stopped, never thought I could do it.  What helped me to, was when I really had an urge, taking some deep slow breathes and stretching help me a lot.  Also the cognitivequitting.com web site really saved my ass.  Check it out, and again Congratulations

I totally agree with Cyn!  If you end up smoking, you're just going to have crave after crave until you decide to quit and repeat your 3 weeks again.  Getting through the craves without smoking makes you stronger and you can walk through your next tough day with more confidence.  Breathing and stretching worked wonders for me as well too...especially during the craves.

Way to go Susan!!!  You are doing great and hope the good days come back to you soon!
