I remembered so clearly when I passed that first week.
And I am very happy for you for doing that
At your point, try to pass that hour, or even that minute, in your fight with bastard Old Nic
It will not matter as the hours and the minutes and the day will add up to yet another week.
I assure you. Bastard Old Nic will not bother you later on.
But from time to time, watch out for his curved ball. Old Nic plays dirty and throw dirty too.
Tell him to fuck off, and kick his balls to his back bone each time he bellied up to you.
You will make it.
Wayne Baker:
Good show Lenny!!
If you refrain from ever taking that first puff; you'll continue to feel better and better!
Susan Scobie:
No Hoping about it. You will make it. You can make it. You will do it my friend Lenny.... Not easy but just think YOU have done one week. You don't want to re do that first week ever again. One day at a time. chant " I will NOT smoke today" " I do not want to smoke" and before you know it you will have two weeks... 14 days behind you. And Your LUNGS thanks you!!!!
BessieBee:
Very nicely done, lenny! The FWD is HUGE and the first of many milestones you'll be celebrating. One step at a time...
Here is your shiny new letter for your very first milestone. Display it with all the pride that goes with it:
