Hey everyone,
Yep, it's true. Gotta restart the meter. Picked up again and now I'm back.
With the help of as3, I originally quit in 2001. Please take my name off the list? I'll let you know what date to replace it with later.
Thinking back to 2001. I had two little kids, was a SAHM with a lot of time on my hands. I smoked 3.5 packs a day and drank a lot. My drinking picked up full speed when I quit smoking. Replaced one bad habit for another.
Fast forward. Now my little kids are bigger than I am and I work full time.
Why did I start smoking again? Smoking was the lesser of my two evils.
I don't smoke as much as I used to. Maybe a pack a day. But I know me. If it weren't for working in a no smoking building, I know I'd be right up there at 3 packs a day. Again.
Got a little smoker's cough. My health isn't as bad as it was when I originally quit. But, I know I should quit before it gets that bad again.
Due to high security restrictions, I have no access to the internet during my working hours except for approved work-related sites and am constantly monitored. So, I have to rely on my iphone to post and reply to messages during the day.
Nice site. Will be back.

Wow, sorry to hear this, Joy. I had the same two problems too.... in my case I really couldnt' choose either one cuz I couldn't keep doing either one anymore.
You're one of my all time favorite people in AS3 and this news really bums me out. Sure do hope you quit again soon: you know what you need to do, and you know why you need to do it.
Regarding the other problem, send me a PM if you want to talk about it. Been smober almost 10 years, but been sober over 15.

Glad your back and hope you quit again ASAP...Really think quitting smoking was the hardest thing I ever did, but it can be done. Smoked for close to 50 years and using the cognitivequitting.com method is what help put cigarettes down forever. You will get alot of suggestions , and I have found a lot of caring and supportive people.
Sue:
I had no idea that you had slipped. You know we will be waiting with open arms and lots of support when you are ready to make one of the best decisions you will ever make. Remember that someday redheads will rule the world and it just doesn't look proper to hold the scepter in one hand and a cigarette in the other.
AnneDDD:
Aw, crap. Sorry to hear that, Joy.
Well, I'm glad you're back and ready to fight. We'll back you up.
